Call me Mrboosmum. I have another name, of course, and a non-premmie parent life. Some day, I’ll get back to that. For now, much of my energy (and anxiety) is devoted to my beautiful and hilarious five-year-old, Sissyboo (who read the manual and arrived at 39 weeks), and Mr Boo, my amazing one-year-old (actual) who arrived at 29 weeks. We live with their Dad, the Grumposaur, in south-east England where we muddle through our new normal (don’t you loathe that word?) life of bringing up a child with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a wicked sense of humour.
Hi there. Just wanted to say I found your blog via Homestart’s FB page and it is great. I’m going to share it with a FB group I help run which is for NICU/ex-NICU parents in Hertfordshire. It is so helpful to read about others experiences to help us all get through our own. Your blog roll looks full of other inspiring blogs too. Thanks very much and good luck with your blogging. Hope you decide to “come out” to friends and family soon. I’m sure they’d be impressed.
Thank you so much. I have gained so much from other people’s blogs over the past twelve months. And the blogging community is so supportive. Thank you for sharing this. I’m hoping to set up a Facebook page for Premmeditations over the next few days. I’ll be sure to look up your group.
Whats your real name?
I blog anonymously for various reasons. No one knows I write this, except me, so I have to keep my real name to myself, I’m afraid.
I’ve just given you a Liebster award – you can read about it on my post at WomanUnadorned
I just nominated you for a Liebster Award. If you want to accept the award, here are the details: http://anearlystartblog.com/2014/02/10/awww-shucks-liebster-award/ 🙂
Lovely blog. I have just had a stomp around on your site – what a lovely family you have, and you are clearly a strong and capable mother x 🙂
